Taylor is a Landscape Architect experienced in project management, communication strategies, and technical drawing. Since joining PUBLIC CITY in 2016, she has been actively involved in the design, management and production of projects of varying sizes and scopes including the Market Lands Public Engagement and Urban Design strategy, HIGH PARK, PARK PARK, and "Down North", PUBLIC CITY's concept for the Rees Street Park shortlisted design competition in Toronto, Ontario. She is currently working as part of a shortlisted team in the LGBTQ2+ National Monument design competition.

Taylor is a certified member of the Manitoba Métis Federation and a citizen of the Métis Nation. She has continuously pursued work reflecting her deep interest in design rooted in the history and culture of place, and was named an Olmsted Scholar by the Landscape Architecture Foundation in 2013 based on her research into Lakota sacred landscapes and memorials in South Dakota. This research involved interviews with management personnel for the Crazy Horse monument, including Ruth Ziolkowski, the widow of the Crazy Horse sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski, as well as Lakota activists opposed to the monument. The work was a nuanced study in the importance of cultural consultation, informed representation, and sensitivity to historical context(s) in landscape art and design. This body of work continues to inform Taylor's work today.

Taylor is a member of the Building Equality in Architecture Prairies Executive Committee and Associates of the Winnipeg Art Gallery Executive Committee.
