ROW ROW ROW (In collaboration of URBANINK)
Winnipeg, Manitoba

The aluminum posts of ROW ROW ROW represent the seigneurial lot system used to divide settled land, in Fort Garry and throughout Winnipeg, into narrow properties running from the river into the adjacent prairies. The path of the posts represents the Red River, as it bends and twists through Fort Garry. Bold colours on each side of the posts transforms the structure as one walks, bikes, or rides by on a bus.
