COUNTERBALANCE PARK | 2010
Lower Queen Anne, Seattle (Liz Wreford at Murase Associates)

Counterbalance Park is a 12,000-square foot urban pocket park in Seattle’s Queen Anne / Uptown neighbourhood.  The dynamic urban space responds to the dramatic temporal shifts that occur within the neighbourhood and this historical context of the site. The Park is truly a community gathering place. It is extensively programmed by various community groups and is used throughout the year for events such as markets, festivals, and concerts.
